DPAS Connect update
Discover Financial Services have recently released a new update for their DPAS Connect contactless specification for payment terminals.
The specification update version 2.1 will become applicable as of August 1st 2023 for the certification of contactless payment terminals.
At the moment, Discover Financial Services have not mentioned a sunset date for the submission of devices integrating DPAS 2.0 to terminal type approval.
