JCB contactless documentation update now available
JCB has released updates to the certification forms and processes to be used by terminal vendors developing and submitting payment devices to new type approval or renewal.
Terminal vendors must provide the latest version of ICS (Implementation Conformance Statement) from January 2025 for all the types of approval they are applying for.
They can also access to the new application form for renewal.
It is also crucial to rely on the latest versions of the Requirements for Approval Test Programs, whether for Contactless IC terminal or for Tap on Mobile.
These documents describe the processes to follow in order to ensure proper terminal implementation and receive JCB’s approval.
