Interac Flash v1.6 for all contactless terminals
A few months ago, Interac had released a specification update for the certification of payment terminals applicable in the transit sector only.
Interac has published earlier this month the relevant documentation such as ICS or product registration form in v1.6.
From now on, all type of contactless capable terminals submitted to type approval with Interac Flash shall integrate the IF Level 2 kernel version 1.6.

The Mastercard® Contactless reader specification update v3.1.2 has been announced recently by Mastercard. Starting April 1st 2019, POS vendors shall submit new contactless readers compliant with MCL 3.1.2 testing requirements.
It includes MCL 3.1.1 specifications, as well as EMV Specification Bulletin SB 195, and SB 203.
New products can be submitted with MCL 3.1.1 until March 31st 2019 (ICS submission).

Before entering into Type Approval process, POS providers shall ensure that they use the most up-to-date version of the Implementation Conformance Statement for each of the kernels they submit to certification.

Visa has released an updated version of Paywave kernel ICS.
The Device Questionnaire must be filled and submitted to Visa prior to Type Approval testing of a contactless reader supporting PayWave.
